WILLIAM HARDIE

Here are a couple of rare photos of my GGGrand Uncle William Hardie.

Like his father he was a steam ship stoker and one of the photos show him on board a ship of which the name is unknown and he looks a fair age by this time.

He was to die of injuries received in a fire on board a ship which may be the very ship which he is photographed on.

William was born in 1872 and died in 1940.
